The short answer
For cleaning an Airbnb apartment in Berlin, hosts pay roughly €40 to €130 per turnover depending on size and provider, or about €15 to €40 per hour when billed by the hour. We charge a fixed price: studio from €55, one bedroom €70 – 85, two bedrooms €90 – 120.
The range is wide because providers bill differently and include different services. Comparing on price alone can be misleading.

What sets the price
- Size: studio, one bedroom, two bedrooms or more; number of bathrooms
- Linen: only making the beds, or also washing and delivering linen
- Time window: tight gaps between check-out and check-in or same-day appointments often cost a surcharge (+25% with us)
- Condition: normal use or heavy soiling
- Extras: restocking supplies, key handover, photo report, inspection
- Frequency: fixed, regular appointments are often cheaper
Why very low prices are a reason to ask questions
Building cleaning in Germany has an industry minimum wage. Wage group 1 (maintenance cleaning) has been €15.00 per hour since 1 January 2026, nationwide (source: Deutsche Handwerks Zeitung, in German). That is only the wage. The employer's costs, materials and travel come on top.
An hourly price barely above that wage leaves little room for all of this. That does not mean every cheap provider is dishonest. Ask: how is the team employed? Do I get an invoice? What is included in the price?
A worked example for hosts
One apartment with one bedroom, eight guest changes a month, fixed price €70 – 85 per clean:
8 × €70 – 85 = €560 – 680 per month
This is an illustration. The real number of changes depends on your occupancy. Hosts usually build the cleaning cost into the cleaning fee or the nightly price. It also shows you whether a fixed price with a photo report beats an hourly model.
